Hello KONL Members! It was great to see many of you at our Fall Conference and to receive useful continuing leadership education. Thank you to the Program Committee for their strong collaboration to bring this to all of us.

KONL is all about recognizing the efforts of nurse leaders. Amber Cross, Awards Committee Chair, is leading the group that is managing nominations for the DAISY/KONL Nurse Leader award. Many of us have seen the impact upon a nurse who wins the DAISY award. I encourage you to help KONL recognize the leaders in our midst who are doing the heavy lifting of nursing every day. The nomination site is on our website. Please consider doing this!

I am gratified to work with a wonderful KONL Board. We have strong committee chairs and district directors who are doing good work on behalf of Kentucky nursing leaders. This year, we have a new KONL Ohio Valley District Director - Heather Oliver - and KONL Bluegrass District Director - Kathy Tussey. The Membership Committee has new co-chairs - Amanda Noorani and Suzi Cornetet. I have attached the KONL Board Member list for your information.
