Poster Presentation Winners at KONL Fall Conference

Adam T. Booth, PhD, RN, NPD-BC; Vanesa Mujin, MSHA, PMP; Megan Porter, MHA, MS, OTR/L; Lindsey Journey, MSW, LCSW; & Ratchneewan Ross, PhD, RN, FTNSS, FAAN displayed the first place poster in the category of Nursing Leaders' Health and Wellbeing. All represent University of Louisville. Sara Wellman, MSN, APRN, FNP-C  DNP Student won second place in this category and she represents University of Kentucky.

Tonya Anthony, PhD, MSN, RN Assistant Professor, DNP Program, Leadership Track was the first place winner in the Advocacy Efforts of Nurse Leaders poster presentation category. She represents University of Kentucky College of Nursing. Jaime Schings, MSN, RN, CPHQ, Clinical Quality Nurse was the second place winner and represents Norton Brownsboro Hospital. 

The posters were inspirational for nursing leadership. These posters had topics such as "Exploring Healthcare Professional Wellness: An Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods Approach" (Booth et al.); "Stronger Together: Exploring the Impact of Peer Support Meetings on Stress and Burnout in Ambulatory Nurse Managers" (Wellman); "Emotional Intelligence in Traditional BSN Students: Measuring the Impact of a Single Intervention" (Anthony); and "Protecting Patients, Preventing Injuries, a Targeted Fall Reduction Strategy" (Schings).

CONGRATS to all of our Fall Poster Presenters and to our winners who received a check and free registration to the KONL 2026 Spring and Fall conferences.
